Langhe doc Chardonnay (Mery)

The good position of our vineyards gives delicacy and fragrance to this wine.

COLOR: straw yellow with light greenish reflections

TASTE: dry and full, fresh, mineral, intense and delicate flavor

PAIRING: with fish, smoked fish, shellfish, white meats, well-seasoned cheeses, soufflés and puddings

Dolcetto d’Alba doc (BlackBerry)

The vineyards around Treiso are renowned for the production of a high quality Dolcetto.

COLOR: intense red with violet reflections

TASTE: an intense aroma of blackberry, cherry and violet. Moderate acidity, dark fruit flavors and a hint of almond

PAIRING: excellent as an aperitif and served with all types of first courses and white meats.

Barbera d’Alba doc (MyRuby)

The good quality of this wine is given by the vineyards on the slope of the hill, exposed to the sun and the characteristic clayey and calcareous soil.

COLOR: intense ruby ​​red with purple reflections.

TASTE: fruity, with a pleasant aroma of cocoa and vanilla, with aging.

PAIRING: this wine is an excellent pairing with first courses rich in flavor, roasts and red meat in general. Medium-aged cheeses.

Langhe doc Nebbiolo (Moody)

Some believe that this name comes from the word “fog”, which is common during the harvest period.

COLOR: intense ruby ​​red, with garnet reflections that develop during aging.

TASTE: dry and persistent with notes of red fruits when young, more pleasant and velvety with aging.

PAIRING: it goes well with roasts, grilled meats and aged cheeses.

Barbaresco DOCG (Montersino)

Barbaresco is a particularly charming red wine, whose vineyard is cultivated in the territories of Barbaresco, Treiso, Neive and in some areas of Alba, San Rocco Seno d’Elvio. This wine comes from Nebbiolo grapes produced in Treiso, in a single vineyard called Montersino.

COLOR: garnet red with orange reflections; characteristic and intense aroma.

TASTE: dry, full and delicate, velvety and tannic just enough.

PAIRING: traditionally paired with dishes from the Piedmontese kitchen, it is ideal with meat, richly flavored dishes and cheeses.

Barbaresco DOCG (Cottà)

Barbaresco is a particularly charming red wine, whose vineyard is cultivated in the territories of Barbaresco, Treiso, Neive and in some areas of Alba, San Rocco Seno d’Elvio. This wine comes from the Nebbiolo grapes produced in Neive, in a single vineyard called Cottà.

COLOR: garnet red with orange reflections; spicy and enveloping, with persistent tannins.

PAIRING: traditionally paired with dishes from the Piedmontese kitchen, it is ideal with meat, richly flavored dishes and cheeses.

Barbaresco DOCG 2008

Like every year, Vigin reserves a selection of this wine produced from Nebbiolo grapes from Treiso, half of the Montersino vineyard and half from Neive, in the Cottà vineyard.
